Admission Procedure
  • All the candidates who have passed Higher secondary Examination or equivalent (+2) examination are eligible for applying for the General courses (Arts, Science&commerce) in the college.
  • For studying with Honours in any subject a candidate is required to secure at least 45% marks in the Higher Examination or equivalent (+2) examination in the year 2006.Ten marks will be deducted for passing in each previous year.
  • A student will not allowed to apply if he/she passed prior to 3 years.
  • The student form science stream may apply for Hons. In Accountancy and Economics. in the case, they should secure at least 40%marks in Mathematics. The student of science stream may apply for Commerce and Arts stream.
  • The admission will strictly be on merit basis. The merit list will be preparead on the basis of grade points obtained by the applicants. The procedure of calculating grade point has been elaborated in the application form.
  • Howaver, the candididates seeking admission in Science and Commerce stream (General) And Hons. In Accountancy & Economics will be made directly on first come first serve basis as the in take capacity is limited. So, candidates seeking admition those above mentioned courses need not submit their forms or wait for publication of merit list.
  • In case of changing stream form Science & Commerce to Arts stream 10 marks will be deducted form the Total marks.
